School Hours
School office hours are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The teaching staff can be reached before 7:45 am and after 2:30 pm. You may also make arrangements for a meeting time by calling (619) 443-0948.
- Before School Care: 6:00-7:30
- Morning Arrival: 7:30-8:00
- Flag Salute: 7:55 prompt
- Classes: 8:00 – 2:30 (M-Thurs)
- 8:00 – 1:30 (Fri)
Before School Care
Before School Care is available beginning at 6:00 am. This service is provided free of charge. Any parent using this service must personally sign in their child/children each morning. Please contact the school office if you are interested in this service, as space is limited.
Extended Day / After School Recreation Program
Our Extended Day Recreation Program provides a safe and positive After School Program for our students and includes physical education, arts and crafts, and other projects. An application must be completed by the parent and approved by the Barona Indian Charter School and the Barona Recreation Department. Please contact the school office if you are interested in this program, as space is limited.
The After School Recreation Program is offered from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm unless otherwise notified. Occasionally, the Recreation Center cancels on Friday due to events being held in the gym. A note will be sent home in advance whenever any changes are made.
